Chasing the light until it gives out.

I'm alex, proalexshoots. A photographer based in South Florida, shooting street, travel, and people on Sony α glass. The work lives in the moment between light and dark: golden hour on a Tokyo sidewalk, neon bleeding through rain in Hong Kong, a night market in Jiufen lighting up as the sky goes black.

Most of my frames are crowds moving through cities that never slow down (Tokyo, Osaka, Kyoto, Hong Kong, Taipei, Guangzhou) and the people who carry on through weather, crowds, and chaos. I look for the quiet pocket inside the busy scene: a crosswalk stare, a taxi line stacked with order, a couple framed by lanterns.
